Kept updated with the last available technologies is not easy. In an effort to help Operators, Services Companies and Manufacturers to exchange ideas and knowledge about new technologies will be held, for first time in Buenos Aires, the Simposio Latinoamericano de Perforating SLAP 2016.

The Symposium is organized by volunteers from Operators, Service Companies, and Manufacturers, and will follow the format of the International Perforating Symposiums (IPS) that have been put in Houston and Galveston (USA), Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia), Abu Dhabi (UAE), Amsterdam (The Netherlands), Muscat (Oman), and Bogota (Colombia) since 2008. The event is entirely sponsored so there will be no additional costs other than those associated with normal travel and accommodation expenses. Mantenerse actualizado con las últimas técnicas de Perforating y sus aplicaciones no es sencillo. Motivados por la necesidad de dar a conocer, intercambiar ideas, y conocer nuevas técnicas entre operadoras, compañías de servicio y fabricantes, se desarrollará por primera vez en Buenos Aires el Simposio Latinoamericano de Perforating SLAP 2016.

El simposio está organizado por un comité conformado por voluntarios de operadoras, compañías de servicio y fabricantes. El mismo mantiene el formato del International Perforating Symposium (IPS) que se viene realizando en distintas ciudades alrededor del mundo desde el año 2008. El evento es completamente sustentado por el aporte de los sponsors, por lo que no tiene costo para los asistentes, salvo los relacionados a viajes y hospedaje.
