The International Perforating Forum Company (IPFC) recently concluded  International Perforating Symposium (IPS) 2024 in Galveston, marking a significant event for the organization. Among the highlights was the announcement of new changes in the IPFC Board of Directors and Officers, reflecting the organization’s commitment to evolving and adapting to the industry’s needs.

Acknowledging Mark Brinsden’s Dedication

First and foremost, a heartfelt thank you was extended to Mark Brinsden for his exceptional foresight and unwavering commitment to the IPS and the IPFC over the past 16 years. Mark’s contributions have been instrumental in guiding the organization through various challenges and opportunities, and his legacy will continue to inspire future leaders.

New IPFC President: Phillip Crabtree

Elected as Board Member and President, Phillip brings a wealth of experience and leadership to his new role. His vision for the future of IPFC is expected to drive the organization to new heights.

 

New Business – Board of Directors and Officers 

During the event, a motion was made by David Ayre to incorporate additional persons into the Board of Directors and appoint new officers. The motion was approved, and the following individuals were elected to their respective positions:

  • Phillip Crabtree: Elected as Board Member and President, Phillip brings a wealth of experience and leadership to his new role. His vision for the future of IPFC is expected to drive the organization to new heights.

  • David Smith: Appointed as Board Member and Treasurer-Elect, David’s financial acumen and strategic insight will be invaluable as he oversees the financial health and sustainability of IPFC.

  • Brenden Grove: Elected as Board Member and Secretary-Elect, Brenden’s attention to detail and organizational skills will be crucial in maintaining the efficiency and effectiveness of IPFC’s operations.

  • Alphie Wright: Appointed as Vice President, Alphie is set to bring innovative ideas and a dynamic approach to his new role, helping to steer IPFC towards future growth.

  • Matthew Clay: Elected as Board Member and Safety Chairman, Matthew’s dedication to safety and his comprehensive understanding of industry best practices will ensure a solid safety database. 

  • Hanaey Ibrahim: Appointed as Board Member and International Safety Chair, Hanaey’s global perspective and commitment to safety standards will enhance IPFC’s international safety database.

These new appointments mark a significant milestone for IPFC, as the organization continues to strengthen its leadership team and prepare for future challenges and opportunities in the perforating  industry.
